I can’t even wrap my head around all that has happened this year.

So much to celebrate and so much to mourn.

So much accomplished and so much left to do.

I found out I have diabetes this year.

I lost a dear, close friend this year.

Also a Grandpop and a family dog.

I became a husband this year.

I started a new life this year.

We got our own dog this year.

She’s snoring in my lap right now.

I found out I can do more than I think I can this year.

For one part of the year I never felt farther away from God.

In the next I never felt closer to him. 

A lot of particularly terrible movies and boring music came out this year.

A couple good ones though too.
